How to start using rhino.fi with your browser or mobile wallet

This applies only to users who have created their accounts before 14 Jul 2022 - the day of our rebrand to Rhino.fi

DeversiFi is now rhino.fi. We’ve evolved from a trading exchange into a multi-chain DeFi hub, where you can swap tokens cross-chain and enjoy yield opportunities from different ecosystems.

However, this means we need to update a few things, and one of them is the message MetaMask (and other browser and mobile wallets) users get when they access their trading key — essentially, the password they use to connect their wallet.

If you use MetaMask (and other browser and mobile wallets), you previously had to sign a message that read ‘“You are accessing your DeversiFi account. Only sign on app.deversifi.com"’ before getting your trading key. Normally, your browser would save the signature, so you wouldn’t have to sign every time you wanted to use the platform.

Now, however, we have moved to a new domain, so you need to sign a new message before retrieving your key.

You may be wondering why we can’t simply update the message and change ‘DeversiFi’ to ‘rhino.fi’. The answer is that our platform is totally self-custodial: you retain control of your funds at all times.

So we need you to sign a new message accepting the change of domain. But don’t worry: it only takes a few seconds.

  1. Step 1: Access your existing DeversiFi account

The first step is to log in to your existing DeversiFi account.

To do this, just click Access Account and then hit ‘Sign’ when you get to the next page.

  1. Step 2: Claim your rhino.fi log-in

Now you need to claim your new rhino.fi log-in.

To do this, click Access Account and then click ‘Sign.’

And done!

You’re now ready to start using rhino.fi. This means you can access frictionless cross-chain swaps and access the latest passive-income opportunities from the comfort of layer 2, which means total privacy and no gas fees.
